Tiruvalla 11th May 2019  – Ann Mary Zacharia Mount Carmel Kottayam and Pranav Prince Thiruvananthapuram ( NBA Academy in Noida) will lead Kerala at the 36th Youth National Basketball Championship to be played at the Indoor Stadium of PSG College of Technology Coimbatore.

The team will be coached by the Kerala State Sports Council Coaches Prem Kumar V M  (Girls ) and Dimal C Mathew (Boys) and  managed by Aswini Sreekumar from Thrissur  and V M Joseph of  Idukki in girls and boys respectively.

Kerala boys placed in Group A along with Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka and Delhi while the girls are also Grouped in  A with Punjab, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Delhi.

The final 12 were selected after a 15 days coaching camp held at  the Indoor Courts of Naipunya Institute of Management  Pongam, Koratty for boys and girls in Christ Vidyanikethan in Irinjaalkuda.
