34TH YOUTH NATIONAL BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP BRONZE FOR KERALA GIRLS

Hyderabad, 8th July 2017: Kerala Girls defeated Uttar Pradesh 58-47 to secure the Bronze medal for the 34th Youth National Basketball Championship for Boys and Girls got underway at the Indoor Stadium, Gachibowli in Hyderabad.
The Kerala Girls which had handicapped by the captain Sreekala who could not able to play the championship as she had played twice the Youth sessions today had another setback when Sandra has to leave the field to an Injury during the Semi Final and was r ued out of the championship.
The bronze medal game started with Kerala taking the upper hand with 16-7 lead in the 1st quarter and ended the Interval with 25-14 Ann amria john was the leading scorer for Kerala with 17 points followed tall lanky Ann mar Zacharia making 16 and captain Aparna Sadasivan contributing 12 points for the Victory.
