Bangalore - 6 ft .8’ inch 18year Pranav Prince who is in Pennsylvania with the First Love Christian Academy - a private high school in Washington, U.S.A. an graduate from NBA Academy Delhi India from ST Josephs HSS Trivandrum will represent Senior Indian Basketball team for the first time , he along with M C Thankachan another Malayalee from Chandanakampara in Kannur who also in the squad as Asst Coach
The Indian basketball team will play their final qualifying tournament for the FIBA Asia Cup 2021 on August 20 and August 21 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. , India is in Group H along with Saudi Arabia,, and Palestine, in the group to decide . The top two teams in the group will progress to the FIBA Asia Cup 2021, which will be held on July 2022 in Jakarta Indonesia .
The team was trained at Bangalore Under Serbian Coach Veselin Matic supported by Coaches from India Mohit Bhandari and M C Thankachan
India will play Saudi Arabia on August 20 and Palestine on August 21,
Group G will consist of Guam and Chinese Taipei. The two teams will play twice on August 26 and 28 in Mangilao, Guam. The outright winner will qualify for the FIBA Asia Cup 2021.
This Three team will Join the 13 teams already qualified, Philippines, Korea, China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Lebanon, Bahrain, Iran, Syria, Jordan, Kazakhstan along with host Indonesia to complete the 16 for the Asia Cup in Jakarta .

About Pranav Prince
Pranav Was on vacation here as he Joined the Senior Indian Camp in Bangalore with Aman Sandhu who is also in US along with him
He had his schooling from St josephs HSS Thiruvanthapuram under Manoj Xavier before Joining NBA Academy in Noida at that time became the second male student-athlete from the NBA Academy India after Jagshaanbir Singh to get a high-school basketball scholarship in the U.S.
Pranav led the NBA Academy India squad in scoring and rebounding and was named Team MVP in Stage 1 of the Euro Youth Basketball League in Hungary in September 2019.
In January 2020, when the Academy participated in Stage II of the Euro Youth Basketball League in Hungary, he was named Team MVP once again.
"His length, athleticism and his ability to get to the rim stand out," Flemming says talking about Prince's growth. "His perimeter shooting and his defence are areas that are steadily improving. Coach Ron Cass, our Player Development coach, has played a significant role in his improvement."
At the height of the COVID-19-forced lockdown in India, in May, he was asked to join the NBA Basketball School's group call, to share all of his experiences with younger kids.
